My Baby’s Growing Up

Can you believe Aliza is 3 months!? So much has happened this past month, and I apologize that I haven’t written here more often. Anywho, today was Aliza’s 3 month appt. She weighed in at 10 lbs 14 oz. And measured at 24 1/8 in. I was concerned at first because her weight gain did not seem sufficient, but the doctor said she’s doing well. She is in the 25th percentile for her weight, and 90th percentile for her height. Needless, it does seem like she took after her daddy. She’s gonna be tall and slender.

Some of her past accomplishments this month have been as follows: She’s learned to roll from side to side, from her back to her stomach. She can prop herself on her elbows and pick her head up. She’s laughed out loud (which was such a joy for Kris and I to hear). She’s managed to repeat vowel sounds back at us. And she seems to understand that the word “up” means sit up, and she trys to do so by herself. haha. She’s also started to teeth the last two weeks, and she has been doing so well with it.

Some of her favorite activities this past month have been talking. She throughly enjoys having converstaions with her daddy. Her sounds are so beautiful. She enjoys reading and having story time. Recently I have been taking her to baby story time at our nearby library, and she just soaks it all in. 🙂 She still enjoys music and dancing, sitting, and eating. 🙂

We are so excited to watch her grow up. She is truly a joy, and we are so thankful to have her.  Well, that’s it for now. Baby’s calling.
